Shannon and Jonas met in the sandy Kingdom of Bahrain. Despite both being Australian, Shannon was living in New York and Jonas was living in Manila when they had a chance encounter while temporarily working in the Middle East. This chance encounter led to a month-long romance before they returned to opposite sides of the globe. Three weeks later, Jonas visited Shannon in New York. Three weeks after Jonas’ departure, Shannon visited Jonas in Manila. It was only another three weeks before Jonas moved to New York and just over a year on, they were married and expecting their beautiful son. It was only a month ago I had the pleasure of visiting them over in the Philippines, and meeting their gorgeous 8 month old; Remi. We had a great time taking photos around the Manila Polo Club (where Jonas's parents first met).What a beautiful family, and I wish them all the best for the future. L x

I recently spent a few weeks over in NY. One of my favourite parks in the city is the newly done- High Line. Located on Manhattan's west side, the High Line was originally constructed in the 1930s, to lift dangerous freight trains off Manhattan's streets.When all sections are complete, the High Line will be a mile-and-a-half-long elevated park, running through the West Side neighborhoods of the Meatpacking District, West Chelsea and Clinton/Hell's Kitchen. Perfect for a very chic & modern wedding shoot!
